ACROYOGA: Learn to Fly

Discover your potential with AcroYoga with Stanley Norris! He will be doing 2 AcroYoga workshops with us at Energie EnCorps. 
 
The practice of AcroYoga is fun and inspiring. It combines acrobatics with the fundamental principles of traditional yoga. AcroYoga helps tone the entire body while increasing flexibility. Join us for an afternoon of partner yoga, laughter and fun for all!

Sounds fun right! In this workshop you will:
  • You will learn dozens of poses and sequences that allow you to pursue an independent and safe practice. 
  • We will strengthen the foundation and work on sequences of asanas. You will have all the necessary equipment to add creativity and a personal touch. 

What to expect:  An authentic approach, great sense of humor, support and encouragement. Guaranteed fun!

Stanley Norris Bio

Stanley Norris adopted a Sivananda yoga practice in 2002 to help with an unsettling case of insomnia and to recover from a martial arts shoulder injury. From yoga he got more than pain relief and a good night’s sleep. Stanley developed a meaningful, healthy and balanced lifestyle and his life was transformed over the following years.


In 2008, Stanley began to practice Iyengar yoga and was introduced to AcroYoga (partner-based acrobatics with a yogic approach). That year he completed a 200hr ''Hatha'' yoga teacher training at Sivananda Vedanta Ashram in Madurai India. In 2009 he began teaching yoga and also began exploring and teaching partner-yoga. In 2011, he completed the 200hrs AcroYoga teacher training program at Ashtanga Yoga Montreal.
