Inversions, Headstands & Arm Balances

In this workshop you will learn practical tools to turn upside down with stability, tranquillity and grace. You will gain a thorough understanding of the anatomical patterns at play in your body while inverted. Detailing the shoulder mechanics helps you integrate your arms, spine, ribcage and hip to create a solid platform for accessible and pleasurable inversions whether on your head, hands or elbows. We will play with simple to advanced asanas. All levels welcome.

 

Tim Feldmann is the co-founder of the world renown Miami Life Center and of the newly opened Miami Yoga Garage - a yoga and cultural house in Miami's Wynwood district. Originally from Denmark, Tim is Authorised Level 2 by K. Pattabhi Jois and R. Sharath Jois and has been practising yoga since 1994. Drawing upon his past as an internationally successful dancer and acclaimed choreographer, anatomy, alignment and technique form an integral part of his teaching. Under the guidance of Vidwan Nagaraja Rao, Jayashree, Narasimha, and other exceptional scholars in South India, Tim has studied the teachings of Patañjali, Sankhya and Vedanta extensively. A practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga’s Advanced A Series, Tim finds Ashtanga’s traditional method an exceptional path towards healing, wisdom and self-realisation. Cherished worldwide for his fun, disciplined and detailed pursuit of authentic yoga and his compassionately effective adjustments, Tim demonstrates how study, steadiness and devotion are the means to powerful transformation both inside and outside of us.

Cost: 75$ + tax per workshop or 525$ + tax for the entire Tim Feldmann week-end.
