Rock Your Asana Series: The 8 Limbs of Yoga

The 8 Limbs of Yoga – What Is It?
Part 1 of the Rock Your Asana Series

In this session, we’ll dive into the philosophy of yoga and explore the 8 Limbs of Yoga, the guiding principles that encompass yoga as a holistic practice. What does Ashtanga mean, and how does it go beyond just the physical postures? We’ll explore the concept of a traditional practice and how yoga encompasses far more than just the asanas (poses). You’ll also learn what a vinyasa is and what it means to practice with intention. What is the Ashtanga method, and how does it create a balanced, comprehensive approach to health and wellbeing? This workshop offers a glimpse into the foundational philosophy of yoga, igniting curiosity and sparking a deeper interest in exploring the full breadth of the practice.
