Following the success of our Open House, we are delighted to invite you to join our 8-Week Yoga for All Abilities Series starting on Friday, January 24th, 2025. These sessions are designed for everyone, regardless of age or ability level, and are perfect for you and your loved ones to experience the benefits of yoga together. 
 
About Anne, M.Ed. , E-RYT-500 - Chair Yoga Specialist:

Anne Archambault is a dedicated Yoga instructor with a passion for making yoga accessible to everyone, especially those with unique needs. Anne was first trained as a Yoga teacher in 1984 and has been teaching and learning Yoga ever since. She is an E-RYT-500 certified Yoga teacher and holds a certification in Massage Therapy. She serves as part-time faculty in the Applied Human Science Department at Concordia University where she has been teaching Recreation Therapy to future healthcare and community workers over the past 24 years.
Combining her talents as a teacher, therapist, and yogi, Anne’s practice offers a space where you can tap into the power of community and create the space to allow for greater learning and joy. She shares her experience with a gentle touch, accompanying you at your rhythm.

Anne's journey into Chair Yoga began from a desire to bring the benefits of yoga to her clients when working in a clinical setting serving seniors with neurodegenerative illnesses, individuals recovering from traumatic brain injury, and those facing mobility issues. Her workshops are designed not only for Yoga Teachers but also for healthcare professionals seeking to integrate Chair Yoga into their practice. Each module of Anne's workshop series is meticulously crafted to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to adapt yoga practices for diverse populations.

Anne currently lives in Pointe-Claire, Quebec where she shares her life with her two sons, husband, and Maïna, her beautiful 3-legged Husky.

Cost for 8 week series: $200 + taxes 

Cost for Drop in Class: $30 + taxes

 

What to Expect:

Each hour session will be an inclusive and gentle yoga class, focusing on enhancing mobility, balance, and relaxation. Our experienced instructors will guide you through adaptive poses that can be done with the support of a chair. These classes are ideal for those with physical limitations, seniors, or anyone seeking an adapted yoga practice.

Please note that our facility has elevators and is wheelchair accesible.

For virtual classes, zoom links will be sent out automatically upon registration.

Cancellation Policy for the 8-week series: We accept cancellations up to 14 days prior to the workshop and you will receive a full refund minus 10% of the original workshop fee. No refunds are available for cancellations within 7 days of the workshop.
