This isn’t just about stretching or gentle movement – it’s about building connections, enjoying time with people we care about, and feeling part of a supportive community.
Inspired by Rozel, whose mom lives with dementia, this program was created to support adults who may need extra care or companionship. We encourage participants to bring a friend, companion, or caregiver so they can share the experience, meet new people, and engage in meaningful social interaction. It’s also an opportunity to give back to the community by fostering inclusion, connection, and joy.
Socializing is essential for mental health and healthy aging – we all deserve to feel connected, supported, and joyful!

Sandy completed her 200-hour Ashtanga Yoga Teacher Training at Energie EnCorps and is currently more than halfway through a 300-hour Advanced Ashtanga Yoga Mentorship program. In the spring, she also completed a 50-hour Adapted Yoga Teacher Training at Energie EnCorps, led by Anne Archambault, a respected teacher with decades of experience in the field.
A devoted mother and wife, Sandy has spent much of her life building a successful career in business. Now, as she gradually transitions into retirement, she is embracing the opportunity to reconnect with herself through yoga and mindfulness. Her practice has become not only a source of physical strength but also a path to personal growth.
Sandy is passionate about deepening her understanding of yoga and wellness, and is eager to share what she learns. Her goal is to inspire and support others in finding their own sense of well-being, purpose, and connection—on and off the mat.
